Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup hosted by The Broke And The Bookish!
God knows that I love all the scary things in this world! Give me a horror movie and I'll watch it, possibly even by myself. Give me a book that you think is scary and you might be disappointed in my reaction. It's true, it takes a lot to really freak me out and make me feel a bit on edge, but all these books did the trick. Sure maybe that didn't have me sleeping with the lights on or crying in the corner of a room, but they were unsettling enough to end up on this list!
"Coraline" by Neil Gaiman: This book is just the right kinds of creepy and the lesson is great for kids of all ages!
"Nameless" by Lili St. Crow: Vampires and Snow White come together in this novel and it works perfectly!
"Sanctum" by Sarah Fine: It takes place in the Suicide City and it's scary as all get out, but so good as well!
"Splintered" by A.G. Howard: Let me just say this: Wonderland has never looked this creepy before!
"The Cure for Dreaming" by Cat Winters: The visuals in this book are haunting and perfect and it's also Historical Fiction!
"The Clockwork Scarab" by Colleen Gleason: It's the sister of Bram Stoker and the niece of Sherlock Holmes, what more do you want?
"The Forest of Hands and Teeth" by Carrie Ryan: Talk about freaky zombies. They actually call them The Unconsecrated if that helps...
"The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova: It takes the Dracula legend to a whole new level, and the ending is one that will always stay with me.
"The Diviners" by Libba Bray: It's one of her most unsettling books to date and I can't wait for the next one in the series!
"The Naturals" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes: Have ever been in the head of a serial killer? Well, here's your chance.
Well there's my list! What's on yours? I wanna know. Leave your link below or tell me in the comments!

Awesome list! The Cure for Dreaming, Forest of Hands and Teeth (scared me tremendously!) and The Diviners would definitely be on my list! I will have to check out the other books…thanks for the recommendations.
I totally forgot about The Historian. I really enjoyed it and it was definitely a little creepy a times! The Naturals sounds interesting; will definitely look that one up! Great choices :)

I almost put THE NATURALS on my list because I love that book! I really need to read Cat Winters's books and IN THE FOREST OF HANDS AND TEETH. Thanks for stopping by!

I really enjoyed The Forest of Hands and Teeth! The Historian was pretty good as well, just SOOO long. Sanctum was not for me, but Nicole does love it. I really want to pick up The Cure for Dreaming.
