[Waiting On Wednesday: Forbidden]

Waiting On Wednesday happens every week on Wednesdays (hence the name) and is hosted by Breaking The Spine.  It's were people talk about the books they want to read about that aren't out yet.

My pick this week is...

Author: Kimberley Griffiths Little
Release Date: November 4th, 2014

In the unforgiving Mesopotamian desert where Jayden’s tribe lives, betrothal celebrations abound, and tonight it is Jayden’s turn to be honored. But while this union with Horeb, the son of her tribe’s leader, will bring a life of riches and restore her family’s position within the tribe, it will come at the price of Jayden’s heart.

Then a shadowy boy from the Southern Lands appears. Handsome and mysterious, Kadesh fills Jayden’s heart with a passion she never knew possible. But with Horeb’s increasingly violent threats haunting Jayden’s every move, she knows she must find a way to escape—or die trying.

With a forbidden romance blossoming in her heart and her family’s survival on the line, Jayden must embark on a deadly journey to save the ones she loves—and find a true love for herself.

Set against the brilliant backdrop of the sprawling desert, the story of Jayden and Kadesh will leave readers absolutely breathless as they defy the odds and risk it all to be together.

This book sounds so awesome! I'm extremely excited for it and I think it'll be the perfect adventure story. I'm hoping that I'm right and that I love this one as much as I think I'm going to.

What are you waiting on this week?  I wanna know!

It does sound awesome and is new-to-me. I like that it is set in the desert, which should make for a great adventure story. Great pick!

Nice choice! I'm really curious about this one and I'm excited to see a more eastern setting in Mesopotamia. Plus forbidden romance is usually a pretty captivating plot device, so I feel like this one could definitely draw you in!

This sounds really good. I like the idea of the desert setting (it's different from what I am used to reading). Great pick and thanks for sharing!
