My pick this week is...
"The Secret of Lily Graves"
Author: Sarah Strohmeyer
Release Date: May 13, 2014
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary:
With the intrigue of
Pretty Little Liars and plenty of romance, bestselling author Sarah
Strohmeyer weaves a story of secrets and lies—set in a funeral parlor.
Growing up in a house of female morticians, Lily Graves knows all about buried secrets. She knows that perfect senior-class president Erin Donohue isn’t what she seems. She knows why Erin’s ex-boyfriend, hot football player Matt Houser, broke up with her. And she also knows that, even though she says she and Matt are just friends, there is something brewing between them—something Erin definitely did not like.
But secrets, even ones that are long buried, have a way of returning to haunt their keeper.
So when Erin is found dead the day after attacking Lily in a jealous rage, Lily's and Matt’s safe little lives, and the lives of everyone in their town of Potsdam, begin to unravel. And their relationship—which grew from innocent after-school tutoring sessions to late-night clandestine rendezvous—makes them both suspects.
As her world crumbles around her, Lily must figure out the difference between truth and deception, genuine love and a web of lies. And she must do it quickly, before the killer claims another victim.

This does sound good…I almost chose it as my WoW pick for this week. I like that it's similar to PLL and takes place in a funeral parlor…sounds very unique. Great pick!
This is my third time trying to post this comment! Blogger is being so difficult this morning!
I love mysteries and I can see why a funeral parlor would be privy to so many secrets. Thanks for putting this on my radar, Christianna! :)
I have this as my WoW this week too! I can't wait to read it. It's up on Edelweiss if you have an account there. THanks for stopping by My WoW.
Oh the Pretty Little Liars reference at the beginning has me intrigued right from the get go! But once I read the whole thing I started thinking about Six Feet Under and that has me even more excited, I can't wait to read this one too!
Ooh, nice choice! I've heard such good things about her cute novels but this one seems like a change for her... I'm really curious to see what it's like!
I'm so excited for this one, too. It looks so awesome and I love the funeral pallor setting. It's up on EW, just FYI. Great pick!
This really does sound like something I'd love. But I'm sorry I have to laugh at the MC's name: Lily GRAVES and her family members are mortitians?? Bwah ha ha:)
My type of book, but seriously, I think I'd read anything with a tagline of Pretty Little Liars, I'm addicted. Sounds like this will be a creepy read. :)
you always have such good WOW picks! Added this one to the TBR...
