[Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Would Recomend To People Who Like Joss Whedon TV Shows]

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup hosted by The Broke And The Bookish!

There is nothing I love more than a Joss Whedon TV show.  I seriously cannot sing the man's praises loud enough.  I love it all, starting with Buffy and heading all the way in Agents of SHIELD.  He just knows how to write a tv show that will leave you shocked with some of the most awesome reveals ever.  I have to admit that I fancy Dollhouse and Firefly the most, but I dig it all!  So when this weeks top ten was "books you would suggest to x type of person", of course fellow Joss fans popped into my head.  I could have also just been catching up on SHIELD two seconds ago?  So anyways, here is my list.  If you've read some of these but haven't watched a Joss show, you should get on that as well!  I'm not gonna even tell you why these are on the list, cause it might give too much away...

Books For The Fans Of Joss Whedon:
(or books that will make you wanna watch one of his shows)

"Cinder" by Marissa Meyer:
"Code Name Verity" by Elizabeth Wein:
"Dangerous Girls" by Abigail Haas:
"Mythology" by Helen Boswell
"Neverwhere" by Neil Gaiman
"Sanctum" and "Fractured" by Sarah Fine
"Relic" by Renee Collins
"Not a Drop to Drink" by Mindy McGinnis

Well there's my list!  What's on yours?  I wanna know.  Leave your link below or tell me in the comments!

As I am Joss's number one fan (!!!) I love this list! CINDER is a great choice. I'm not sure I would have put NOT A DROP TO DRINK on the list (I wasn't crazy about it) but I can see what you did there:) I'll have to read some of these that I haven't read yet, especially if you think they have the "Joss vibe."

Umm, can you say AWESOME to your list choice? I completely agree (with the ones I've read... and probably the others once I read them.)

Here's my TTT.

WHO DOES NOT LOVE JOSS WHEDON?! I HAVE ONE FRIEND WHO IS OBSESSED WITH HIM!

I have only read Sarah Fine's series and CINDER on this list, but I definitely plan on reading NOT A DROP TO DRINK.

I never really pay attention to who creates which shows so the only Joss Whedon shows I know are the ones you named in this post lol. I did like Dollhouse but I understand why it was cancelled so quick though I think the show was going in a weird direction. I haven't watched Firefly yet but it's on Netflix and I have been eyeing it. Anyways, Cinder is epic, of course! I have not read Dangerous Girls but the reviews for that one were really good. We all know our love for Shadow of Blackbirds so I won't get into that hhaa. Your review of Not a Drop to Drink is what got me to read that one and I really liked it too! I'll be taking notes of the others!

Great idea for a list! I haven't read any of these books (which is shameful!) but I have had my eye on Cinder and Shadow of Blackbirds. I have heard such awesome things about Cinder--I need to get my hands on a copy!

What a great topic idea! Do you read Entertainment Weekly? They LOVE him at the magazine. I still need to read Code Name Verity (I know, I know--I have it checked out from the library right now) and Relic. Great list!

So my fiance and I just finished watching Firefly.. SO GOOOD :)
I was really excited when I read your topic! I am adding them to be TBR! Nicole is on me to read Sanctum and Fractured so I know I need to. I am currently on Not a Drop to Drink but Neverwhere sounds awesome as does Mythology!

Hello fellow Joss fan! Firefly and Dollhouse RIP. You never truly had a chance to shine. Stupid network. *kicks conveniently placed bucket*

I want to read Dangerous Girls so bad it hurts. I have heard amazing things.

I can totally see why you put Cinder and Neverwhere on here :)

So I obviously loved Buffy and now I want to watch Agents of SHIELD and I had no idea he did Dollhouse (I really liked that one) but I've read almost all of these book and agree they are awesome so I second this and now I will go in search of the ones I haven't read to add to my TBR!
