Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup hosted by The Broke And The Bookish!
Thanksgiving is almost here and this week our prompt was to come up with the top ten things we are thankful for. Since I like to talk about books over in these parts of the woods, I thought that I would talk about my favorite bookish things. There are so many, but I few totally stand out to me and so without anymore stalling I give you...
The Bookish Things That Rock My Word!
"Clark Kent" Clark isn't a superhero who has an aversion to Kryptonite (if that's what you were thinking) he's actually my Kindle. I don't know what I would do without him because if I didn't have him I couldn't get my hands on eARCs and I wouldn't be able to read on the go as easily as I do. Needless to say, I kinda dig him.
"Oscar Wilde" Actually this is double bookish love thing, because I do adore the heck out of Oscar Wilde and all of his plays and interesting social commentaries. He's pretty much one of the most witty classic writers that I can think of. I've always wanted to me as clever in my writing as he is. On the other hand, it's also the name of my computer and if I didn't have that, I wouldn't be writing this.
"Bookmarks" The fact that they are just little strips of paper with cool things on them makes them one of the most genius creations ever. Seriously, the help with reading so much. But there really isn't much to them. Bookmarks, you are cool.
"The Library" Pretty much heaven on earth, that's what they are. You can find the books that you wanna read, but you don't want to spend money on until you know that they're good. You can try books that you'd never thought to try and when all is said and done it leaves extra room on your shelves for other books.
"My Favorite Used Book Store" I love my local used book store to pieces. Nothing is over $5 and you can trade stuff in for credit. I've landed some really awesome finds in the racks of that store.
"eARCs" I adore the fact that I'm able to get my hands on books before they come out, but that actual ARCs aren't taking up room on my shelves. It's pretty much one of the best things ever!
"Neil Gaiman" He should really be higher up on my list, but there is really no order for this madness, so it still works. I know that Neil is a writer and not a thing, but he's one of my very favorites and I can't tell you if I would be writing my own stuff without his books.
"Kick Ass Authors On Twitter" I adore a good convo with authors on Twitter. There are so many awesome authors out there who are willing to chat and support and create alongside other aspiring authors and it's a beautiful thing. I wish I could name you all, but the list would just keep going and going and going like the Energizer Bunny.
"Standalone Books" In a sea of series in YA lit, I love finding a good standalone novel. I really enjoy a book that is a complete story that you get enjoy in one go.
"Blogging Buds" Another bookish thing that I love is the community of bloggers who also love books as much as I do. It's seriously the best community out there and I'm so luck to be a part of it. You guys are all seriously the best!
Well there's my list! What's on yours? I wanna know. Leave your link below or tell me in the comments!

I love love love that you named your Kindle. That is absolutely the best!
And I agree, getting to 'talk' to authors on Twitter is the coolest thing since sliced bread!

Oscar Wilde is just classic. I think I've read The Importance of Being Ernest at least a dozen times and I still laugh at the jokes. T10T
I love your list and I love that you've named your kindle and computer :)
Great list! I am also thankful for bookmarks, my library, blogging buds, and kickass authors, among other things. I am really jealous of your used book store. I need to find one near me. They can't be beat!
