Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup hosted by The Broke And The Bookish!
One thing that I love more than anything is a book that takes me away to somewhere else! I'm an avid traveler. In the last year I've been to Europe twice. The UK, Italy and Switzerland for 7 weeks last summer and Paris in January. When I can't afford to travel over seas I end up pulling people into my car and heading out on road trips, even if they are to places a couple hours away. Sadly, I can't even do that every waking moment and so books that have to do with travel are a favorite of mine. They bring back memories, create a sense of wanderlust and make my list of places that I want to go grow. So, in a way I guess books that deal with travel are a double edged sword? Anyways here are my favorites that I've gotten around to!
Books That Makes Me Wanna Pack My Bags/Relive Great Travel Memories/Build My "I Need To Go There" List:
"Just One Day" by Gayle Forman: This book rides that YA/NA line and I love it! And the Paris scenes in this book are amazing! As well as all the other places Ally ends up going! I can't wait for "Just One Year"!
"13 Little Blue Envelopes" by Maureen Johnson: This was the book that introduced me to Maureen's amazingness. It also made me decide that I needed to read as many of her books as possible. It also made me fall in love with travel books.
"The Last Little Blue Envelope" by Maureen Johnson: When I found out that their was going to be a second book I was super excited! I might have even danced a jig? I mean sure I fine with how things ended in the first one, but I really wanted to know what that last letter said and Maureen wanted me to know too!
"Girl at Sea" by Maureen Johnson: Okay, do we see a pattern here? I told you that I love Maureen's work. This one was just as great as the envelope books. Plus the whole thing took place on a boat. That's a new twist on things...boat travel!
"How My Summer Went Up In Flames" by Jennifer Salvato Doktorski: It's a road trip with a girl and 3 guys in a car. It's pretty much some of the funniest stuff I've ever read. I guess I can relate, because most of my road trips are me and some guys in a car too!
"The Rules For Disappearing" by Ashley Elston: So most of this book has nothing to do with a road trip, but when the actual trip in question takes place, it's a good one!
"Going Bovine" by Libba Bray: Probably the most insane road trip book that I've ever read in my whole life. But it's also one of my very favorites! This book is insane guys, but the best kind of insane that I can imagine! Read it!
"The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" by Ann Brashares: This one is a YA classic! And it's got travels all over the place. Seriously, so many travels and cool locations happen throughout this whole series! I grew up with these girls!

"Anna and the French Kiss" by Stephanie Perkins: Once again we take a trip to Paris and it's so much fun! Stephanie just knows how to write a really interesting, fun, contemporary read and this one is one that I love!
"The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova: This is one of the scariest vampire books I've ever read, plus it's got so much travel in it! I remember reading it and being just as excited about the travel aspect as I was about the "big bad vampire" thing!
Well there's my list! What's on yours? I wanna know. Leave your link below or tell me in the comments!

I love the books which made it to your list Christianna. Just One Day made it to my list too, that book was just too epic! I still need to pick up How My Summer went Up in Flames and 13 Little Blue Envelopes, but the fact that they made it to your list, is a sure sign that I will enjoy them too! :)
Just One Day! Yes, as I was going through lists this morning I totally didn't think of that one but it is so perfect! And girl you are killing me with how many different things How My Summer Went Up In Flames fits into. I really must get to reading that one here soon after I finish this review book!
I have Anna and the Sisterhood on my list, too. I've heard great things about Just One Day, but haven't read it yet. Great list!
