[Top Ten Tuesday: Week One]

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup hosted by The Broke And The Bookish!

This week we've been asked to compile a list of our Top Ten Favorite Book Romances.  I'm guessing this has something to do with Valentine's Day (or Single's Awareness Day as I like to call it)?  Oh, and there is no real order to this madness.  My favorite couple most likely depends on the day...

Leslie and Niall from "Ink Exchange" (The Wicked Lovely Series) by Melissa Marr.
Seriously, have you guys read this series?  Out of all the loves that take place, and there are a lot, Leslie and Niall will always be one of my favorites.  Not only in the series, but out of a lot of books that I read.

Jane Eyre and Mr Rochester in "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte.
I know that not everyone enjoys this tale of love, but it just gets to me.  Yes there are things like age differences, the ultimate secret and both of them being a little messed up, but isn't that what it's about sometimes?

Garnet and John from "Jubilee Trail" by Gwen Bristow.
Not many people know about this book, as it was written ages ago, but it's amazing!  Totally a New Adult book, before anyone even knew it was gonna be a thing.  Long before.  But anyways, Garnet is from a rich family in NY, and then goes in wagon train to California with her hubby Oliver and meets his best friend John...

Gemma and Kartik from "The Gemma Doyle Series" by Libba Bray.
Oh Good Lord, I still have so many feelings about these two and how Libba decided to end the trilogy.  But I love these two together and always will!

Talia and Lachlan from "Tight Knit" by Allie Brennan.
They are the perfect broken couple, who build each other back up!  There is just something beautiful and magical about that.  Plus, I have so much love for Lachlan!

Ginny and Oliver from "The Last Little Blue Envelope" by Maureen Johnson.
These two crack me up.  Oliver is just too darn funny and Ginny is still hung up on that other dude and Oliver, I swear Oliver steals the show and is totally perfect for my girl Ginny!

Jo March and Professor Bhaer from "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott.
"Little Women" has been one of my favorite books since I can remember and even though a small part of me wishes that Jo would have picked Laurie, I LOVE her with Bhaer.  They are hands down the perfect couple and might just be my actual favorite!

Lela and Malachi from "Sanctum" by Sarah Fine.
These two get the "totally kick ass" award.  They are fearless and stuck in The Suicide Gates.  They fight side by side and also have crazy chemistry!

Lissar and Ossin from "Deerskin" by Robin McKinley.
This book is heartbreaking but also so redemptive!  These two both have major issues to make their way through, but in the end they find safety in each other!

Hale and Beau from "Rouge" by Leigh Talbert Moore.
Hot steamy steam!  These two are red hot and amazing characters.  I fell in love with this story and their love story.  And the story is going to continue!  (I said story way to many times in that...)

So there you have it!  My list of my Top Ten Favorite Book Romances!  What are yours?  I'd love to know!

Ahh, the Wicked Lovely series! There's some very good romance in there, and Leslie and Niall are no exception. (; Thanks for sharing!

I've always been kind of anti-Bhaer because I can never get over Laurie.

DUDE omg I gave up on Ink Exchange like halfway through it eventually made me go like "I can't even take this anymore." The romance was AMAZING but the plot was starting to annoy me and now I really wish I kept reading to see the ending!

And I have Little Women but I never read it. I should probably try it soon!
